Questions, answered
Which payment methods can my customers use?+
The ones they already reach for: iDEAL (how most of the Netherlands pays), debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard and more), Bancontact for Belgium, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay. Winnen shows each customer the right methods automatically — there's nothing for you to configure.
Do I need a card reader or terminal?+
No. For payment links the customer just pays on their own phone. For in-person payments, Tap to Pay turns the phone already in your pocket into the card reader — they tap their contactless card or wallet against it and it's done. No terminal to buy, rent, charge up or carry.
When do I actually get the money?+
Payments are confirmed instantly — the second the customer pays, the invoice marks itself paid and you both get a receipt. The funds then settle to your bank account on Stripe's standard payout schedule, typically within a couple of business days. No more waiting weeks on a bank transfer.
What are the fees?+
Winnen is €69/month for the whole platform — payments, invoices, inbox, calls and the AI receptionist, all included. On top of that, standard Stripe processing fees apply per transaction, the same transparent per-payment rate you'd pay anywhere. No hidden markup from us, no monthly minimums.
Is it secure?+
Yes. Every payment runs on Stripe — bank-grade security, fully PCI-compliant, used by millions of businesses worldwide. You never see or store a card number, and your customers pay through a checkout they already know and trust. Your data is encrypted and hosted in the EU.
Does it work in the Netherlands, Belgium and the UK?+
Yes. Winnen is built for businesses in the Netherlands, Belgium and the UK, and Payments shows the right methods for each — iDEAL in the Netherlands, Bancontact in Belgium, cards and wallets everywhere. Invoices handle 21% BTW out of the box.
How fast can I take my first payment?+
Usually the same day. Setup is done-for-you: we connect your Stripe account, set up your invoice template and your pay links, and you're ready to charge. Most businesses send their first pay link or take their first tap within a day of signing up.
